About the artist…

Renalyn Vergara

Hello and welcome to my art page! I am a college student in Nevada State University majoring in Visual Media with a concentration in animation. I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but raised for most of my life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Other than art, I find joy in writing and hanging out at cute cafes where I pretend to be a productive member of society.

All artworks displayed are inspired by different creators, childhood characters, and a time frame to recognize my growth and development throughout my art journey. I grew up watching (and still watching) lots of cartoons and animated movies, which sparked my curiosity of how movies and series were created!

Finding the Opportunity

I currently work as a student Peer Mentor who found ways to bring my designs and art in student merchandise. I had the wonderful opportunity to work closely with our student government and the marketing team to create t-shirt designs and stickers for the college students and staff!

Nevada State University’s First and Fierce program celebrating First Generation students with events and resources. I was in charge of designing stickers to celebrate our different First Gen majors.
